The evening for the individual clubs is broken up into four areas.
Opening Flag Ceremony
All children gather in the auditorium to start the evening with a word of prayer and recital of the American & Awana Flag pledges. Children then dismiss to their designated club area.
Council Time
Children meet in the lower level for a time of songs and a short Bible lesson / story. Unique lessons such as "Dinosaurs and the Bible" make God's Truths exciting and fun to learn. This is also the time where special nights such as Music Talent Night and Arts & Crafts Night take place.
Handbook Time
Handbook Time for the Sparks club is co-ed while the T & T clubs split into boy & girl teams. Each club has books designed for the individual age groups involved. All books are packed with memory verses, crafts and service projects along with step by step details of the Gospel of Christ. Children are rewarded with Awana Dollars for saying 'sections' from the handbooks.
Game Time
This would probably be the favorite area for the majority of clubbers. Games are co-ed for all groups and include age appropriate games. The groups are divided into four teams - Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. Games take place in the auditorium around the regulation sized Awana game circle. The children enjoy playing everything from the normal relay to crazy food games on food night.
