AWANA Grand Prix coming up!
The AWANA Grand Prix is coming up Saturday March 3rd. This is one of our biggest events of the year and always well attended. Car kits are on sale during February for $5.00. On Friday Feb. 24th (6:30PM ~ 9:00PM) and Saturday Feb. 25th (9:00AM ~ noon) we will again host a Car Building Workshop. Tools, paint, and a weigh-in help are all provided in the lower level.

“Exploring the Book” - A weekly study of the Bible in English/Spanish -- Sunday afternoons, 3:00 PM beginning October 16, 2011

Adult Winter Reading Program
The PBC Library Committee is happy to announce Cozy Up To A Good Book: Adult Winter Reading Program which will run from 2-5-12 until 4-12. All PBC adults are welcome to join.
A table will be set up on the 5th for registration and to receive the bookmark log. After that date, simply see one of the library committee members for a bookmark: Ann, Ceil, Lisa, Rebecca or Tanzi.
During that period of two months, to complete the program and receive a finishing prize (coffee and a donut at Dunkin' Donuts), you must read 1000 pages (books or audio books from the PBC Library). For audio books, there will be a post-it on each one in the library denoting how many pages if it was in book form.
Questions? See one of the committee members! Now find a good book on the library shelves and get going!
Missions Conference
The upcoming mission’s conference has become the focus for the missions committee. “Enlarge My Vision” (Proverbs 29:18) will be the theme for this year’s conference scheduled March 15-18. Please be in prayer for the conference, our missionary guests who will be traveling to attend, and the missions committee as we finalize plans. Our guests this year will be Paul & Paul Jarot, Jodi Ward, Phil & Arleen Blycker, and Carl Smith.
The conference will begin with our cottage meetings on Thursday evening. Session 1 will be held Friday evening with a special concert by the Blyckers. Our Saturday begins with a men’s breakfast followed by the ladies’ salad lunch and concludes with our annual missions banquet in the evening. The conference concludes with our regular schedule of Sunday CEH and Worship services. An added feature this year will be a special mini-missions conference just for the children led by Jodi Ward.
